Dear Colleague:

The New Jersey Occupational Therapy Advisory Council has proposed a revision to its rules.  Public comments on the proposed revisions are due no later than Friday, July 6, 2018.  The revision includes many changes, including changes to supervision of OTAs which is of concern to NJOTA and AOTA.  Of particular concern are provisions currently in the rules that require updating to provide flexibility for the OT and OTA in the supervisory relationship.

The text of the proposal can be found here: http://www.njconsumeraffairs.gov/Proposals/Pages/Occupational-05072018-proposal.aspx

NJOTA and AOTA would like your feedback on the proposal.  Please send any comments or concerns to stpd@aota.org no later than Friday, June 29, 2018  to afford us time to review your feedback.

Thank you!

Sincerely,
